A jury returned a verdict in the case of Anna Nicole Smith

Trial by jury in Los Angeles issued a ruling in the case of the death of Playboy model Anna Nicole Smith, according to Associated Press. Defendants were three men: her ex-boyfriend, Howard Stern, a psychotherapist Christine Eroshevich and physician Sandeep Kapoor.
Jurors deliberated a total of 58 hours. According to their decision, Stern is guilty of helping Anna Nicole Smith to receive  medicines sold on prescription. Eroshevich convicted of appointing  “Vicodin” without medical necessity. Sandeep Kapoor acquitted of all charges.

Anna Nicole Smith died at age 39 in February 2007. The cause of death was overdose model strong drugs sold by prescription.Soon the investigation was suspected that the close Smith indulged her addiction to drugs. Stern, Eroshevich and Kapoor were taken into custody in late 2009. It is worth noting that the charges of involvement in the overdose of Smith, which led to the death of the model, it has not been charged.

Anna Nicole Smith has gained popularity in 1993 thanks to shoot for the magazine Playboy. A year later, she married 89-year old billionaire, James Howard Marshall, who died in 1995.
