Topping the list of the richest entrepreneurs of Australia won Gina Rinehart. Thus, the rating of the richest Australians first time led by a woman.
Over the past year, Rinehart managed to double her fortune to 10.3 billion Australian dollars (10.8 billion U.S. dollars). She inherited the company from her father in 1992. Her father, Lang Hancock (Lang Hancock) was one of the pioneers, miners in Australia. In his honor in 1999 was named a mountain.
