Accident at “Devil’s Turn” in Mexico
Bus carrying a group of religious pilgrims crashed in Mexico, on Saturday, November 19. The incident occurred on a highway near the town of Tenansingo in Mexico State. According to preliminary information, the driver lost control due to faulty brakes, resulting in a bus falling into a chasm from a height of 40 meters.
As a result of the accident 13 people were killed and 34 were injured. The m
ost seriously injured were taken to nearby hospitals by a helicopter.
El Universal said that the location of the incident is known to locals as the “devil’s turn” due to the frequent accidents that occur at this site.
