Leonardo DiCaprio will star in the Warner Bros new movie about the murder investigation of 35 th U.S. President John F. Kennedy.
The movie is based on the book Legacy of Secrecy, which was written by Lamar Waldron and Tom Hartman. The book, in turn, is based on real events. The main hero of the film will be an FBI agent Jack Van Laning. According to the story, he rubbed the trust of the gang led by Carlos Marcello and finds out that John Kennedy was shot by order of the Mafia.
It is assumed that the new movie will be directed by a famous film director, who had previously worked with DiCaprio, but his name has not been disclosed. The film’s release will mark the 50 th anniversary of the death of Kennedy. 35 th U.S. president was assassinated on Nov. 22, 1963. The film will release in theaters in 2013.
Note that the company Warner Bros. previously produced movies, about the Kennedy assassination. In particular, in 1991 published a film by Oliver Stone‘s JFK.
